Harmful/Misleading/Dishonest I hired David Rick Nelson to represent my son in a serious legal matter that is un legit Juvenile Wardship Petition in Placer County without any evidences by Deputy District Attorney. I was expecting a professional who would protect the interest and welfare of a minor, Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Throughout the case, I observed troubling behavior that raised serious concerns about loyalty and ethics. Important evidence that could have helped my case was ignored, and communication was minimal and evasive. There were also unexplained meetings with the Deputy District Attorney, which I was never informed about. These actions left me feeling unprotected and betrayed, especially as the outcome of the case was clearly affected, my son was sentence without any fair trail, actually trial never happen. Throughout the court proceedings, it seemed that my son's defense was not handled with independence or diligence. Key opportunities to challenge the prosecution’s case were ignored, it felt like we were not being defended, but instead pushed through a predetermined outcome. I have since filed formal complaints in California State Bar and am seeking review of the entire process. I cannot in good faith recommend this attorney to anyone in need of loyal and ethical legal representation. I cannot recommend to anyone seeking honest representation. I strongly advise others to research carefully and consider alternative counsel.
